Day 1: Fly to Cochin: Check in at Taj Malabar
Arrive at Delhi in late evening. You will be met at the airport and our executive
will escort you to the hotel.

2: Cochin:
Cochin - In the afternoon we offer you the tour of Cochin visiting Fort
Cochin - Ancient capital of the Dutch, Portuguese and finally the British The
old Spice Market at Mattancherry, the antique shop on Jews Street, the Synagogue,
Dutch Palace and, of course, the Church of St. Francis where the mortal remains
of Vasco Da Gama was buried before it was shifted to Portugal. Kathakali show,
the traditional dance form of Kerala.
Day 3 : Munnar
Today we drive to Munnar.

Rajamalai: This is a wildlife sanctury, which support the largest population
of Nilgiri Tahr excisting in the world now. Anamudi Peak, the highest point
(2695 mtr) is located in the southern region of this peak.
This is an ideal place for adventure tourism and trekking. The fresh mountain
air, the mist-clad hills and panoramic view make it worthy of a visit. Munnar,
one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence
of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at
1600 m above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British
Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding
lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience.
Your sight seeing is your own pace. Visit the echo point, tea planataions, tea
musums. Trek, swim and enjoy the nature.
Day 4: Today we Drive to Periyar.
On our way we will visit - Power House Waterfalls - This waterfall on the
way to Thekkady from Munnar cascades down a steep rock 2000 m above sea level.
The spot is enriched with the scenic western mountain ranges, and is an ideal
place for a break on the way to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady.

Periyar
- Thekkady the very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants,
unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. In the Periyar forest
of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India, and spread across
the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great
opportunities for treks and mountain walks.
Flora - Over 1965 flowering plants including 171 grass species 143 species
of orchids the only South Indian conifer Podocarpus Wallichianus.
Fauna - Mammals: Thirty five species including the wild elephant, gaur,
sambar deer and wild boar which can be sighted from the boats the Nilgiri Tahr
in the higher rocky areas the endangered lion tailed macaque confined to the
evergreen interiors the bonnet macaque, Malabar giant squirrel, flying squirrel,
tiger, jungle cat, sloth bear etc.
Birds: 265 species including migrants. The hornbill, stork, woodpecker, kingfisher,
raptor, cormorant, grackle, darter etc.
Pisces (fish): The Periyar Lake and streams have several species of fish
including the masheer, the famous and endangered game fish of India. The otter,
the only mammal of the lake, can be frequently spotted from the boat.
Periyar - The pride of Kerala and a testimony to nature's splendour and
human innovation, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of
the Periyar lake - an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of
the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and
savannah grasslands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants,
sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.

Day5:Kumarakom:
This morning we drive to the town-Kumarakom..After breakfast transfer to
houseboat which cruises along the palm-fringed waterways of Kerala in a luxury
houseboat is the most enchanting holiday experience in India today. In this
world of simple pleasures, you will skim past ancient Chinese fishing nets,
water lilies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples and coconut
groves. A guided tour down the backwaters would provide you with a complete
and most enchanting experience on the back waters of Kerala and will also reveal
to you some interesting facts about the life of local village people. There
is a Kerala that lives along these backwaters throbbing with its own unique
culture .For you, as a visitor to Kerala it can be incredibly different experience
just floating this backwater in a country craft and absorbing unusual representation.
Bird Sanctuary: Located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake, the bird sanctuary
is spread across 14 acres. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a favorite haunt
of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal.

Day 06: Today we transfer you to Cochin to fly to Mumbai, Stay at Taj
Mahal in Mumbai till your flight back to home.
